If you own a Ninja Creami, you have to try this easy and indulgent Chocolate Ice Cream. It’s incredibly creamy, full of chocolate flavor, and simple to make in the Creami.

I debated buying a Ninja Creami for a long time, and now that I have one I wish I’d gotten it sooner. It can be hard to find in stock at times, but if you get one you’ll be glad you did—the machine makes home ice cream simple and reliable.

The method for this recipe is straightforward. After several attempts I found that blending all ingredients in a blender yields the creamiest texture. Whisking works, but a quick pulse in a blender gives a smoother result and is worth the extra cleanup.

Blend everything until fully combined (about 30 seconds), pour the mixture into a Creami pint, and freeze. I recommend freezing for 24 hours for best texture, though 12 hours can work in a pinch.

The cocoa powder you choose affects the final flavor. I compared a budget option and a higher-quality cocoa and noticed a difference, but both produced tasty ice cream. Use the cocoa you prefer or have on hand.

Once the ice cream is finished, I like transferring it to separate freezer-safe containers to free up the Creami pint for the next batch. That makes storing and serving more convenient.

Enjoy making and sharing this recipe—it’s rich, smooth, and a crowd-pleaser.
