New Year’s is almost here, and this festive mule is a perfect way to celebrate the season.

I get swept up in the “New Year, New You” energy every year—setting business goals and personal intentions with optimism. I usually stick to them for a while, but this year I’m simplifying: two achievable goals I plan to maintain.

Goal #1: Think outside the box—try new recipes, explore fresh business ideas, discover ways to save, or pick up a new hobby. Small shifts can break a rut.
Goal #2: Take time for self-care every day. Even brief daily practices keep stress from taking over and help me stay balanced.
To kick off these goals, I’m starting with a bright twist on an Irish mule.

An Irish mule is just a Moscow mule made with Irish whiskey instead of vodka.
I chose a mule because Sprouts introduced a new ginger beer that pairs beautifully with seasonal flavors. Their ginger beer is bright and zesty, made with real ginger and citrus juices, which makes it an ideal mixer for cocktails and elevates a classic mule.

The citrus and ginger in the ginger beer complement cranberry and apple cider perfectly. The result is smooth, effervescent, tart, tangy, and slightly sweet. A splash of Irish whiskey adds warmth and a celebratory twist—perfect for ringing in the New Year.

This cocktail is gorgeous, full of flavor, and dangerously easy to sip—you likely won’t stop at one.

Cheers to a stylish New Year with this festive Cranberry Cider Irish Mule.
