Beat the heat with a refreshing Frozen Sangria recipe packed with fresh fruit.

Today my little boy turns two. Instead of a sentimental post, I’m celebrating with something more relevant: frozen alcohol slushies. Yes—alcohol slushies. If you need an occasion for a cocktail, my son’s second birthday will do nicely.

I adapted a classic sangria I learned while living in Spain and gave it a frosty twist. The concept is simple: red wine, extra booze, frozen fruit and a blender. The result is a vibrant, slushy sangria that’s perfect for warm afternoons and easy entertaining.

Wine. More alcohol. A blender. You don’t need much else—just a bit of fresh fruit for garnish and a straw if you want one.
