How to Make Lucky Charms Treats in a Crock Pot

Hi, Aunt Lou here. On a recent trip to Camp Lou-Da-Cris I made a batch of rice krispy treats and everyone loved them. While sitting around the campfire we started thinking of variations and I realized — why not make Lucky Charms treats in the crock pot? It’s marshmallows with marshmallows, and it’s perfect for those who love extra gooey sweetness.

Making these treats in a crock pot is convenient and forgiving, but because slow cookers vary, keep a close eye the first time you try this method. I used a different crock pot at camp than my usual one; it ran a bit hotter and needed more frequent stirring. Watching carefully the first time ensures you’ll get the smooth melted marshmallow texture you want.
